It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I’m preparing for hosting our family’s annual Christmas morning brunch, and wanted to share some of my favorite trips and tricks to make entertaining easy. It all starts with the right serving gear, so I scoured the deals pages on Walmart to bring you the following. Whether you’re hosting, gifting or attending a potluck type event, now is the time to save money & live better with great values on kitchen and dining. Read on for for tips on setting the table, prepping the meal and my favorite recipes for make-ahead, hassle-free entertaining. Plus all the items you can save on with Walmart’s everyday low prices and holiday savings and still have time to scoop up in time for Christmas morning!

Tip 1: For a festive and casual holiday spread that still feels cohesive with your decor, incorporate a little pattern! I like mixing a patterned plate with a solid napkin, or a solid plate with a patterned napkin.

Tip 2: Keep the tablescape simple with a garland, twinkle lights and some fresh fruit tucked in to complement your plate and napkin scheme. Adding some greenery and fresh fruit to top your napkins is an easy touch that makes a huge difference!

Tip 3: Display your pastries on a cake stand to add height and visual interest to your table. Bonus points for making monkey bread in a festive bundt pan (my fav recipe is below!)

Tip 4: I absolutely live for a good breakfast casserole. Savory, sweet – I love them all. Level yours up by making it in a Christmas-y casserole dish that looks beautiful on the table! I’ve linked some of my favorite make-ahead breakfast recipes below – also, you can’t go wrong with this cinnamon-sugar dutch baby!

If you’re not hosting brunch, but instead hosting (or attending!) a festive cocktail hour, I still wanted to make sure you were covered! I found the greatest items below. My favorite is the cake stand that doubles as a chip and dip server when you flip in upside down! GENIUS!

I have accepted monetary compensation and free product or services from Walmart in exchange for my endorsement of Walmart. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
