Holiday Recipes + Kitchen Gifts

When I reached out and asked who wanted holiday recipe ideas and who wanted holiday gift ideas, I was surprised at the split. Almost exactly 50/50! So I went through my recipes and went through the (perhaps 1000’s?) Of amazing deals on Walmart to bring you the following. I get so excited when people ask me about certain kitchen gadgets I have and love and use all of the time. So you can imagine how I felt when I found some of my most beloved items have been discounted at Walmart just in time for the Holidays! Whether you’re gifting to yourself, adding something to your list or finding the perfect gift for a loved one, now is the time to save money & live better with great values on kitchen and dining. Read on for my favorite cold weather recipes + gift-able kitchen items we own and love (including the newest addition I gifted myself!) you can save on with Walmart’s everyday low prices and holiday savings.

The Ninja Foodi – over $100 off!

I’ve shared this one with you before, and I’ll share it with you again. The Ninja Foodi is my absolute favorite. It functions as a slow cooker, pressure cooker AND air fryer. It can saute. The pieces are DISHWASHER SAFE. My friends, this one item can replace multiple gadgets in your kitchen storage AND make your life so. much. easier. I throw the kids chicken nuggets in here on any given night for a Chik-fil-a-esque treat. I can quickly defrost frozen meat that I need for a recipe that night but totally forgot. But my favorite trick of the Ninja Foodi? Using the pressure, saute and slow cooking functions all for one (delish) meal, and having minimal cleanup! My sister’s White Bean Chicken Chili recipe has always been a fan favorite, but we really perfected it by adapting the recipe for the Foodi’s multiple functions and settings. The recipe is below, you HAVE to try it!

The Nutri-blender – $20 off!

You know what I absolutely hate? Hauling out the food processor for a tiny component of a recipe, and then having to take apart and clean all of the pieces. But you know what I love? Recipes that call for food processors. It’s a real dilemma. I started using my husband’s nutri-blender (he uses it 2-3 times a week for single serve protein smoothies on the go) and my life was instantly changed. Why I love this contraption: dual use (use it for smoothies or recipes, like I mentioned above!) small and easy to store, and DISHWASHER SAFE. This would be a great gift for anyone, seriously. But let’s talk holiday recipe – my go-to appetizer for parties in the holiday season is this jalapeno-cranberry-crostini. It’s festive, but spicy and unexpected. And definitely stands out in a spread among the dips and cheeses. I use the nutri-blender to make the “relish” so there is minimal dicing. Check out my recipe (adapted throughout the years) below!

Beautiful, Non-Toxic Pots and Pans – only $99 for a 12-piece set!

This is it. The “To: Mackenzie, Love: Mackenzie” gift I’ve been hinting at. Ever since we moved into our new home, I’ve been dying to replace my mis-matched, chipped-ceramic pans. But I really wanted a full, matching set – and something that was non-toxic, no-stick and matched our range. Kind of a tall order, I know. I noticed this set awhile back but it was $200 – I can’t BELIEVE this price. But more importantly, now that I have them in my hot little hands and have been using them daily, I can’t believe the quality. They are so, so beautiful. And the non-stick works really well! I’m so excited to have these beauties out working hard and looking good this holiday (we’re hosting). Browning up the sausage for my family’s traditional make-ahead Christmas morning egg casserole is going to feel extra special this year. Full recipe below! (Psssst serve it in this cute casserole dish!)

Because I have absolutely zero restraint and love all things shopping and holiday, I also rounded up 6 additional gift ideas that pair nicely with my favorite cold weather recipes from around the internet below. Happy shopping and happy cooking!

I have accepted monetary compensation and free product or services from Walmart in exchange for my endorsement of Walmart. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
