Set your table with a winter white base.
Alright, so say you’re hosting a dinner party this holiday season, and you’re setting to impress. Don’t think you have to run out and buy all new things, or all fancy things – think about layering on to basics you already have, sticking with a color scheme. I like to go with white (because it’s the most season agnostic) but ALSO because you likely already have a ton of white pieces, and when they’re all paired together, it is anything but boring. Quite impactful actually. My trick to make things feel dramatic is to bunch up two tablecloths down the center of the table, letting one side drape asymmetrically. This makes a statement without feeling stuffy. Layering different shades of white and cream in different textures – organic ceramic, natural stone, faux fur, etc – gives your table setting a luxe base that will carry you from October threw the New Year. And they’re pieces you can use year-round as well! I personally love the dinnerware set for use in my everyday life – each set comes with two sizes of bowls, cups and smaller plates in addition to the dinner plate – saving lots of dishwasher space for the multiple snacks and meals my kids use the smaller pieces for every day!
Layer in your festive vibe.
