Outdoor Decor
Our Spooky Scary Skeleton-filled exterior is UP! And we are all so happy with how it turned out. We used eight 5 ft posable skeletons, cotton webs, a mix of real and faux pumpkins and spook black branch accents. By popular demand, I’ll put together a full tutorial on how we hung the skeletons asap. But for now, you can shop our exterior look here:
5 ft Posable Skeletons
Porch Decor
I also grabbed a few items from Joann Fabrics and Hobby Lobby – like these black sticks, jumbo white faux pumpkin and skull planters! The rest of the sticks were foraged and sprayed black.
Spooky Entertaining
Set a spooky table with the serveware pieces below. I also love these paper napkins from Joann Fabrics!
Creepy Powder Room
All you need to create this spooky look is a pack of clear glossy sticker paper, a printer, and Martha Stewart’s template! I scaled the PDF in Adobe acrobat to print each hand separately – I did a few test prints to make sure they were sized how I liked them before printing on the glossy sticker paper. After printing, all you have to do is cut out the hands, peel back the film and smooth them on your mirror! Check! check out this reel to see this easy and spooky powder room transformation. Artwork is by Kesia Finley. You can shop my powder room below:
Halloween Foliage
I love the look of shiny black branches for Halloween- it feels minimalist and creepy all at once! Linking some of my favorite spooky non-tacky faux foliage for you here – and don’t be afraid to use spray paint and forage for real branches! The key is to avoid glitter.
Mantle Decor
Moths are the new bats – you heard it here, first! Mine are from my friend Colleen at Stripes to Sparkle, and I secured them to the wall with (harmless) blue tape. I made the spooky floral piece with a huge branch I foraged, black pampas and lots of faux foliage I spray painted black. Shop my mantle look below!
Coffee Table Styling
Coffee table style can be intimidating year-round – but especially when it comes time to add some seasonal touches. You don’t want things to feel too busy OR too cheesy. I styled my coffee table 3 ways to show a range of options, from elevated to kid-friendly. Everything is linked below!
